North Carolina Alligator Festival returning to Lake Waccamaw

LAKE WACCAMAW, NC (WWAY) — After a successful inaugural event in 2023, the North Carolina Alligator Festival is returning to Lake Waccamaw.

The festival will be held on April 26th and April 27th at the Elizabeth Brinkley Park.

Local bands will kick off the festival starting at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. Saturday will start with two Gator Runs a 1-mile family fun run and a competitive 5k race.

A festival market will run from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be alligator protection and information sessions featuring live alligators, local craftsman, food/beverage vendors, antique alley, foam party, music, and more.
