North Carolina doctor to compete on CBS’ ‘Survivor’

RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) — A doctor at UNC-Chapel Hill will compete for a $1 million prize on the newest season of CBS’ “Survivor.”

Dr. Alison Raybould will participate on team “Goliath” on the 37th edition of the program.

The 90-minute premiere episode of “Survivor: David vs Goliath” airs Sept. 26 on WWAY CBS.

Raybould, a Kansas native, attended undergrad at Columbia University, where she played varsity soccer.

The English major went on to graduate from Georgetown University School of Medicine.
