North Carolina mom turns daughter’s masters degree into a blanket
GREENSBORO, NC (WFMY) — Maybe you’ve heard the phrase before. “That degree isn’t gonna keep you warm.” It’s a knock on students scrapping for an education and supposedly missing out on other things. Well one UNC-Greensboro graduate can now laugh at that phrase.
She can take her diploma and literally snuggle with it.
Kynnith Francis just got her Masters Degree from UNC-Greensboro. She finished with a 4.0 and landed a job before graduation. She said sometimes all the hard work made personal relationships difficult.

“I [told] my mother sometimes I feel that it’s hard to be in a relationship with people because I’m so focused on school. A friend of mine [said], ‘that degree isn’t gonna keep you warm at night. A man will.'”
