One dead after overdose in Wilmington motel

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A woman was found dead in a Wilmington motel late Monday night, according to Wilmington Police.

According to a spokeswoman with WPD, officers responded to America’s Best Inn and Suites at 2929 Market Street around 11 p.m.

Officials said they believe she died from an overdose.
