One shelter closes, other opens in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A shelter that opened Sunday evening in New Hanover County has closed, but another has opened in a new location.

Emergency Management said the shelter that opened Sunday at Trask Middle School closed at 12:30 p.m.

The American Red Cross opened at shelter at 4 p.m. at Winter Park Baptist Church. That’s at 4700 Wrightsville Ave. in Wilmington.
