Over 150 donations for 12th annual Roger’s Wish blanket mission
ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WWAY) — The 12th annual Roger’s Wish blanket mission was held Friday at the Bladen County Public Library.
More than 150 items were donated for the homeless and those in need in Bladen County and surrounding areas.
The annual event is carried out each year in memory of Roger Lee Theodore Grunder who started the mission in 2013.
According to the project organizer Jeffery Bryan, Roger’s Wish has collected and distributed over 1700 donations of blankets and winter wear items since its inception back in 2013.
