Oysters in October fundraiser set for Wilmington with Halloween theme

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Rotary Club of Wilmington West will host its Fifth Annual Oysters in October fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the Burgwin-Wright House.
The Halloween-themed oyster roast will run from 5 to 8 p.m. and feature steamed oysters, a low country boil, and two drink tickets for beer, wine or liquor. Tickets are $90 per person, with 100% of proceeds benefiting local nonprofits. A cash bar will also be available.
Live music will be performed by Miles Atlas, and attendees are encouraged to dress in costume for a chance to win prizes.
“What could be better than an oyster roast and low country boil in the beautiful gardens of the Burgwin-Wright House,” said event chair Bob Gazak. “We’re continuing our Halloween theme, so if you’re so inclined, get your costume ready and bring it on because there will be prizes! Please join us for some delicious food and drink, fun, and great music in a beautiful setting – we hope to see you there.”
The Burgwin-Wright House is located at 224 Market St. Tickets and sponsorship information are available by contacting Bob Gazak at rgazak@gmail.com
