Panthers owner David Tepper appears to throw drink on fans at football game

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper was caught on video during Sunday’s 26-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars apparently throwing a drink in the direction of fans from his open-air suite at EverBank Stadium.

“We are aware of the video and have no further comment at this time,” an NFL spokesperson tells @josephperson.

The incident appeared to happen with about three minutes left in the game, after a Panthers interception. As of 6:44 pm Sunday evening, the organization has not returned a request for comment.
