Panthers select WR D.J. Moore in Round 1

DALLAS, TX (WWAY) — With the 24th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers selected Wide Receiver D.J. Moore from Maryland.

Moore adds another weapon to the Panther offense for Quarterback Cam Newton and new Offensive Coordinator Norv Turner.

The former Maryland Terp was the top receiver on many draft boards after catching a school record 80 passes for 1,033 yards and 8 touchdowns.

The Panthers next selection will be in the second round tomorrow.
