Pink Pirate Ghostship takes top prize in Topsail Christmas Flotilla

TOPSAIL BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism announced the winners of the 2025 Topsail Christmas Flotilla following this year’s holiday event along the Intracoastal Waterway.

First place honors went to Pink Pirate Ghostship, captained by Rick Brown. Second place was awarded to Bob Aycock of Good to Go Charters for his entry, Reason for the Season. Third place went to Traci and Carl Huffman for their Grinch-themed display.

The flotilla was sponsored by Sea Tow of Wrightsville Beach and Web Designs Your Way. Prize money included $1,000 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place.

“The Topsail Christmas Flotilla attracts many spectators along the Intracoastal Waterway,” said Tammy Proctor, director of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. “We look forward to growing this event each year, with the continued support from the business community and the public.”

The Topsail Christmas Flotilla is hosted annually by the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism and is traditionally held on the second Saturday in December.
