Pop culture invades downtown Wilmington during Coastal Comic Con
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A crowd filled the Wilmington Convention Center this weekend for the inaugural Coastal Comic Con.
Families dressed as superheroes, villains and their favorite characters to walk the aisles both Saturday and Sunday.
Vendors and artists sold an array of items, such as comic books, toys, games, and posters. Celebrity guests were also signing autographs and hosting informational panels.
For gamers, there was also a virtual reality game room set up.
Organizers have announced Coastal Comic Con would be returning next year.
