President Trump coming to the Carolinas Wednesday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY/CNN) — President Donald Trump is coming to North Carolina Wednesday to tour areas affected by Hurricane Florence.

White House officials confirms that Trump would be landing aboard Air Force One at the Marine Corps Station – Cherry Point, on Roosevelt Boulevard in Havelock Wednesday morning.

The visit comes days after President Trump approved a disaster declaration for the state on Saturday.

Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott of South Carolina are expected to fly on Air Force One with Trump.

CNN is reporting that President Trump will also be visiting Myrtle Beach.

The death toll from the storm rose to at least 34 in three states, with 26 fatalities in North Carolina Tuesday.
