Robot restaurant opens in China

GUIYANG, CHINA (CNN) — Robots made their debut at a restaurant in Guiyang, China on Saturday.

Five robots replaced some of the restaurants’ servers.

The robots can bring dishes to customers’ tables, but only according to pre-defined orders.  The server-bots can only move along fixed paths, and can’t respond to customers’ requests.

Managers say, however, that the robots do the work of two people.
