Rouzer, Tillis discuss what they hope to hear from pope
WASHINGTON, DC (WWAY) — As Pope Francis prepares to talk to Congress, we asked some of our representatives what they hope to hear from him.
“The pope issued an encyclical a few months back, it was very interesting, it had some great information in it,” Sen. Thom Tillis said recently. “Goals for the world, I want to hear more about that.”
Rep. David Rouzer talked with us about the pope’s visit during a visit to Wilmington this week.
“I’m most curious to see what he has to say about the fight against ISIS and terrorism and the evil in the world,” Rouzer said. “After all, much of this is a moral and spiritual battle.”
