Santa Claus arrives at Independence Mall via helicopter

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Santa Claus arrived via helicopter to the Independence Mall Saturday morning.

Kids were able to see him as he flew in from above and were able to sit with him afterwards.

Children lined up to have a picture taken with him along with telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas.

One boy said “I want a toy minion, a surprise egg, and Spiderman toy.” Another child said, “I want a dirtbike, and a remote control car.”

Santa will be at the mall from open until close now through Christmas Eve.
