Seahawks return to Trask for four-game homestand

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)–Last weekends two game road trip wasn’t kind to UNCW mens basketball. The Seahawks dropped both games to Hofstra and Northeastern giving up a combined 175 points in the two losses.

UNCW is sure glad to be home. On Thursday night the Seahawks will begin a a four game home-stand starting with William & Mary. The Seahawks will try to snap their two game losing streak, but will have to find a way to stop Nathan Knight. Knight is third in scoring in the conference with 19.4 points per game.

Being at home hasn’t been the best for UNCW. C.B McGrath’s team is just 3-5 within the friendly confines of Trask Coliseum, so being at home doesn’t guarantee a win.

“Obviously being at home we should have an advantage, but it just doesn’t happen because we step out there. We got to prepare to play our best or play better than we did the last couple games on the road last weekend,”said UNCW mens basketball head coach C.B. McGrath.

UNCW and William & Mary will tip-off Thursday night from Trask Coliseum at 7:00 P.M.
