Second half push leads Hoggard boys soccer past Laney
WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY)–The Hoggard boys soccer team scored two goals in the second half on Thursday night to take down Laney in Mideastern Conference play, 3-1.
JP Feliz got the scoring started for Laney in the 15th minute off of a penalty kick that clanged off the crossbar. Hoggard would quickly answer with a goal of their own as Brady Hoffacker connected from past mid field to tie the game at one a piece.
The Vikings would add two in the second half to pull off the win. The victory improves Hoggard record to now (13-3), while Laney drops to (9-9).
