Shots fired into car with 5-year-old inside Saturday morning

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are looking for the man who they say shot into an occupied vehicle around 9:05 this morning.

WPD Spokeswoman Linda Rawley says the female driver and her five-year-old son were in their car at the intersection of Mosley and Johnson Streets when a suspect fired several rounds into the vehicle.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, average height, wearing a dark blue hoodie and a camouflage mask or scarf over his face.

Wilmington Police say no one was injured.
