Silver Alert issued for missing endangered man

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Robert Lee James, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

According to a press release, James was last seen in the 1000 block of S 13th Street wearing a green and white checkerboard shirt, black and brown checkerboard flat cap, beige jacket, beige or blue pants, black sneakers. He was also wearing reading glasses. James is described as 5′ 8,” 140 pounds, brown eyes, and grey hair.
