Six New Hanover County schools named among top 100 public schools in NC

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Six schools in New Hanover County have secured spots among the top 100 public schools in North Carolina, according to rankings by U.S. News and World Report.

Wrightsville Beach, Ogden, Eaton, Holly Tree, Codington and Noble Middle School received the noteworthy achievement.

U.S. News and World Report meticulously analyzed rankings and data from elementary and middle schools nationwide, drawing from the U.S. Department of Education’s information on student performance in state math and reading exams.

The scope of this evaluation covered more than 2,100 elementary and 1,300 middle schools in North Carolina, underscoring the notable distinction achieved by the six New Hanover County Schools in the statewide landscape.
