Small alligator captured after swimming with residents in pool

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCIV) — Swimmers at a Goose Creek community pool unwittingly took a dip with a tiny alligator Monday.

A woman and her grand-daughter were swimming in the shallow end of the Brick Hope community pool when they spotted the gator at the opposite end, where it had evidently been swimming the entire time. She posted about it on the community’s Facebook group, quickly drawing a crowd.

Homeowner Association board member Debbie Andrews was among the first to arrive.

“I was like, Oh God, who do I call?” Andrews said.
