Snow covering the ground in parts of Bladen County

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is urging residents to stay home and avoid travel as icy conditions continue across the county.

According to the sheriff’s office, most roads throughout Bladen County are iced over, creating dangerous driving conditions.

Several areas of Bladen County are already seeing a layer of snow on the ground.

Residents are encouraged to stay home, limit travel, and use caution if they must be on the roads.
