Teaser, poster released for ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — For more than a year “Star Wars” fans have been waiting to find out what happens after Rey arrives on a rocky island and finds Luke Skywalker at the end of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Today, there are finally some hints.

Disney today released a teaser trailer for the film, along with a poster, which features Rey holding up a light saber that divides pictures of Luke and Kylo Ren.

The release came during the “Star Wars Celebration” event in Florida, where the 40th anniversary of the original “Star Wars” film is being marked.

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is scheduled to be released at Christmas.
