Storm threat douses Friday night lights; high school football, 5th Quarter moved to Thursday


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — There will be no Friday night football in the Cape Fear this week, but there will be football.

As the forecast track for what is now still Tropical Depression Nine continues to bring the storm in our direction Friday, high schools across the area have decided to move football games up to Thursday night.
