Students organize donation drop-off, distribution site

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Students from around North Carolina are pitching in to help victims of Hurricane Florence. One group even came to Wilmington to set up their own distribution site.

Students from NC State University set up at the Pine Valley Church of God Saturday afternoon.

They brought food, baby products, clothes and cleaning supplies for victims in need. The students say they plan to donate any leftover items.
