Taco Bell is introducing its own line of sauce-inspired chips
You soon won’t have to run for the border next time you get a craving for Taco Bell. Just head to the grocery store.
Taco Bell is introducing a new line of tortilla chips that taste like its famous Mild and Fire sauces. The bags even look like giant Taco Bell sauce packets.
“This launch of our first line of sauce packet-inspired chips gives our fans a new way to access a taste of Taco Bell,” said Taco Bell Chief Brand Officer Marisa Thalberg in a release. “Our sauce packets are one of the brand’s most unique aspects and were the natural choice for both the flavors and packaging of our tortilla chips.”
Taco Bell will also sell a more traditional-style nacho chip, dubbed Classic.
The new line of chips, available in a variety of bag sizes, will start appearing on store shelves in May. The fast-food chain currently sells bottled Mild sauce at grocery stores as well.
