Teen has head injury after 20 to 30-foot fall at Hanging Rock State Park
STOKES COUNTY, NC (WFMY) – Stokes County EMS confirmed a teenage boy has a head injury after a serious fall at Hanging Rock State Park Sunday afternoon.
Officials say the teen was taken to the hospital after an estimated 20 to 30-foot fall. Bystanders were nearby as the boy was part of a small group. The first person to find the teen was a nurse and helped treat his injuries. A park ranger said he was conscious and responsive.

Emergency crews were on the scene after receiving the call around 12:13 p.m. Officials wouldn’t identify the teen or elaborate on his condition.
