The time is now for last minute Christmas gifts to be shipped

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — With Christmas nearly here, the time to ship any last minute gifts is now.

The holiday season is a very busy time of year when it comes to mailing gifts and cards, so how much longer do you have? Well if you haven’t shipped off your gifts yet, your time frame is small but you can still get some stuff out. For UPS, you still have options for next or 2nd day air. Ground shipments to the east and Midwest are still options as well. However, according to downtown Wilmington UPS Manager Charlie Labrecque, the price depends on how quickly you want it to get there.

“Ranging from $12 to like $30 bucks for average size packages. Air is when it really jumps up, it could be $60 to $200 depending on the size of the package and weight. But, you can get it there pretty quick.”

Labrecque added that his location downtown has been pretty busy this holiday season, but if you need your last minute gifts in, the time is now.
