The Warming Shelter ILM set to open for multiple nights next week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Warming Shelter ILM is set to open for the third time this winter as temperatures drop below 30 degrees for two or more consecutive nights.
Anyone experiencing homelessness will have a warm place to sleep with no questions asked Sunday, January 18th through Wednesday, January 21st.
The shelter is asking for monetary donations as well as paper products, individually wrapped snacks, soda, and fresh fruit.
In a press release, the shelter says their mission to help anyone experiencing homelessness on Wilmington’s coldest nights is made possible because of the local community.
