Three former Wilmington Sharks drafted to MLB
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – Three more Wilmington Sharks alums will soon be playing professional baseball.
2021 Shark and former Kentucky right-handed pitcher Trey Pooser was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 10th round.
2022 Shark and Binghamton second baseman Nick Roselli was selected by his hometown New York Mets.
2023 Shark and UNCW right-handed pitcher RJ Sales was also selected in the 10th round.
