Topsail suffers first loss, 16-8 to Charlotte Catholic

HAMPSTEAD, N.C. (WWAY) – Topsail girls lacrosse fell to 13-1 on Thursday following a 16-8 home loss to Charlotte Catholic.

The visiting Cougars opened up with a 2-0 lead before the Pirates tied it up before the end of the first quarter. Those goals were scored by Tate Pasquantonio and Avery White.

Topsail remains unbeaten in conference play and atop the MEC standings.
