Traffic continues to flow near Greenfield Lake

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Rush hour traffic from what we see has has been a bit lighter than normal in Wilmington.
One section of the city we’re keeping an eye on is the Greenfield Lake area that is prone to flood with heavy rain.
Traffic is moving through the 3rd Street, Front Street, Carolina Beach Road intersection at a decent pace, but that is subject to change with a high lake level nearby.

We’ll certainly continue to keep an eye on the situation.
