Two men charged in Hampstead business break-in
HAMPSTEAD, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Pender County Sheriff’s Office said two men are facing charges in connection with a business break-in.
Deputies said Rothwell Jacob Simmons and Dante Lamont Hobbs are facing charges including breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods. They said the pair were arrested near the Hampstead Trading Post located on Highway 210. Deputies said Simmons and Hobbs broke into the business on Sunday, stole a bunch of items that were later recovered in the woods nearby.
Simmons is in jail under a $20,000 bond, while Hobbs is in jail under a $15,000 bond.
