UNCW Baseball jumps into winner’s bracket of CAA Tournament after defeating Delaware
Seahawks will face Charleston Friday at 7 p.m.
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – UNCW moved into the winner’s bracket of the CAA Tournament after taking down Delaware 10-6 on Thursday.
The Seahawks started crushing the baseball in the 5th inning, plating six runs. UNCW pitchers also combined to strike out 18 Blue Hen hitters.
Three Seahawks had three hits – Trevor Marsh, Tanner Thach, and Jac Croom. Kevin Jones had three RBI’s.
Friday’s matchup with Charleston is scheduled to start at 7 in the evening.
