UNCW Men’s Basketball finalizes 2025-26 season schedule
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The UNCW men’s basketball team has released its schedule for the upcoming season.
The reigning CAA champions will have a 31-game regular season, which includes 18 home games and 13 road contests.
Exhibitions against High Point (Oct. 18) and Francis Marion (Oct. 26) bring the total number of home contests at Trask Coliseum to a program record 20 this season.
The 13-game non-conference slate is highlighted by the second annual Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic, featuring games against Southeastern Louisiana (Nov. 26), Navy (Nov. 28), and Gardner-Webb (Nov. 29).
The CAA portion of the calendar begins at North Carolina A&T on Dec. 29, before the CAA home opener on New Year’s Eve versus Drexel two days later. A game against Hampton rounds out the opening weekend before UNCW plays six of its next eight contests on the road, a stretch that concludes with a visit to Charleston (Feb. 7).
The Seahawks will be home six times in February, including the regular-season home finale against the Cougars on Feb. 28. UNCW closes out play on the road for the first time in four years at Elon on Mar. 3.
