UNCW stuns #12 Kentucky in Rupp Arena

Saturday's win is the first win against a ranked opponent on the road in school history

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – Saturday’s win is one of the biggest in Seahawk program history.

UNCW jumped out to a large lead in the opening minutes of the game. There was a few Wildcat surges, but the Seahawks stayed secure and finished the job in the closing moments.

Fans were waiting outside of Trask Coliseum as the team returned back to Wilmington just before 11 pm Saturday.
