UNCW Volleyball ready to bounce back
It was a tough start to the home stand on Wednesday night for UNCW Volleyball as they fell in four sets to CAA foe College of Charleston.
“Coming off a slight break with the storm, we really started slow. Once we got past that we started playing hard, but we kind of let them take the momentum from the start,” said senior Maddy Kline.
Kline led UNCW on the offensive side of things finishing with a team high 13 kills. The Seahawks will now turn their focus to this weekend when they host two big conference games.
“We don’t ever want one match to define what we want our season to be. We still have a lot of goals and a lot of time left to achieve those goals this season,” said head coach Amy Bambenek.
The Seahawks will take on Northeastern on Fridy at 2:00 P.M. at Cape Fear Academy.
