UNCW women’s golf leads after one round at CAA Championship

Seahawks combined for a score of 308, one in front of reigning champ Charleston

SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WWAY) – The UNCW women’s golf team leads after day one of the CAA Championship at The Reserve Club at Saint James in Southport. It’s the 10th time the club has hosted the conference championship.

Malu Brinker and Nicole Adam both sit in the top five individually. Brinker is one of five golfers to record four birdies while Adam achieved par or better on 15 holes.
