US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla boating safety class in Supply canceled

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) – – The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10-05 says their 8 hour boating safety class scheduled for September 28 has been canceled.

The class was supposed to take place at the BEMC Training Room in Supply.

The Coast Guard says: Due to circumstances beyond their control and as a result of problems related to recent storms — including Post Tropical Cyclone #8  and the storm formerly known as Hurricane Helene — they will not conduct the Boat America class.
