BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — As part of the U.S. Navy’s 250th anniversary celebration, the United States Navy Band will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. on March 31 at Brunswick Community College’s Odell Williamson Auditorium.

According to a news release, the concerts aim to foster connections between the Navy and communities across the nation.

This performance will feature three ensembles: the Concert Band, Sea Chanters chorus and Cruisers popular music group. Attendees can expect a diverse musical selection, including traditional wind band repertoire, Broadway showstoppers, and patriotic favorites.

The U.S. Navy Band’s tour will cover Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Florida from March 11 to April 2.

“Touring the nation and performing concerts means connecting with communities and telling the great stories of our Sailors working around the globe to keep us safe and free,” Capt. Robert “Seph” Coats, commanding officer of the U.S. Navy Band, said in a statement.
