‘Vanity Fair’ unveils cover of Caitlyn Jenner
“Vanity Fair” has released the first photos of Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympic champion until now known as Bruce.
The cover of the July issue features Jenner wearing a white, corseted leotard under the headline “Call me Caitlyn.”
The cover story, which hits newsstands June 9, is written by Pulitzer Prize winner Buzz Bissinger with photos by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
A synopsis on the magazine’s website says, “Jenner speaks movingly about her journey, telling Bissinger, ‘If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, “You just blew your entire life.”‘”
Jenner admitted his new gender identity in an exclusive interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer that aired in late April.
