WATCH: Dashcam video shows semi-truck hitting electrical worker in Louisiana

DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WWAY/CNN) — Startling dashcam footage captured the moment a semi-truck slammed into an electrical worker who was servicing a traffic light near Baton Rouge.

The worker was in the bucket of a lift truck when the crash happened. The video shows the semi driving straight into the extended lift, sending the bucket swinging violently and flipping the worker upside down.

Denham Springs Police say the worker suffered only minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating whether charges will be filed.
