Weapon and drugs found on hospital property

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police arrested two people Thursday evening at New Hanover Regional Medical Center for having drugs and a weapon on the property.

According to a hospital spokeswoman, it happened around 7 p.m. The two people were charged with possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon.

The spokeswoman could not release additional information.
