Wells Gulledge takes over as Ashley basketball coach

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — One of the team’s that weren’t in the Flight 22 camp is the Ashley boys team as they searched for their new coach. But the search is over.

Wells Gulledge will be taking over the Screaming Eagles team next season.

Gulledge is one of the most accomplished coaches in the state boasting a 345-114 record in his careers along with three state titles. He is the third coaching change in the Mideastern Conference this year.
