Whiteville baseball shutout at UNCW

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — North Davidson shutout Whiteville 3-0 on Monday afternoon in a high school baseball game at UNCW’s Brooks Field. MacKenzie Gore struck out six Knights. Both teams scattered six hits, but the Wolfpack didn’t take advantage of their scoring opportunities. Whiteville is now 11-2 on the season. Whiteville captured the 2014 1-A baseball state championship.
