Wilmington council mulls alcohol sales at park

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Although it looks like just an open space now, there are events planned for it later this summer at Wilmington’s North Waterfront Park.

Folks attending those events might be able to have a drink.

Tomorrow night Wilmington City Council will consider approving selling alcohol at events in the park. Councilman Neil Anderson says this resolution is to accommodate the promoters looking to use the area.
