Wilmington Daycare worker accused of assault/child abuse
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A daycare worker was arrested for child abuse and assault on a child in Wilmington.
According to Wilmington police, Nariyah Ashanti Hooper hurt a child back on August 11th at the Childcare Network #82 at 4808 New Centre Dr.
She was charged with Misdemeanor Child Abuse and Assault on a Child Under 12.
Hooper was given a $2,500 secured bond and has bonded out of custody.
