Wilmington house fire displaces family of four
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Fire Department was called to a home for a structure fire around 3 p.m. on Saturday.
When firefighters arrived at the home on Royal Palm Lane, they saw smoke and flames.
No injuries were reported and according to the fire department, everyone was out of the house at the time.
The Red Cross is assisting the family of four who were displaced by the fire damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
