Wilmington man is going to prison for kidnapping and a firearm charge
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man was sentenced to at least 5 years in prison for second-degree kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a felon.
On October 8th, Antonial White, 31, entered a home on Meares Street with a gun, forcing a man visiting the home to leave with him.
He pistol-whipped the victim and fired a shot into the air; police then arrived and quickly arrested White.
After his arrest, White spat on an officer and threatened several more. Police eventually found the gun underneath a vehicle parked nearby.
