Wilmington Police Department helped with Presidential Inauguration

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police Department was one of several agencies from around the country to assist the D.C. Metropolitan Police and U.S. Secret Service with safety and security efforts at the Presidential Inauguration.

According to WPD’s Facebook post, their officers worked diligently in below freezing temperatures throughout the entire day to help ensure everyone had a safe experience.
